The expression on our Cedarwood Scented Room Spray label reads Sacred Space.  This is indicative of the way Cedar has been used historically and can still be used today.  Cedar is a sacred tree throughout the temperate regions of the world and its spirit is respected and powerful.  What is known as Cedar tree in North America however is different that true Cedar (Cedrus spp.) whose origin is in North Africa and the Middle East.  Whether true or in the Juniperus or Cupressus families, Cedar trees are much loved and revered.  The familiar aromatic wood and fragrant leaves have been used for thousands of years to purify and consecrate people, their possessions and their space, and specifically:
